Hotel Son Ametler´s Mallorcan Magical History Tour
Paola and James are delighted to offer a long weekend of easy to medium walking, with guided visits to sites of historical and cultural interest, great picnics, beaches, deserted coves and archaeological sites.
From 19th until 22nd March 2020, based at the Hotel Son Ametler in Moscari, this relaxing, informative and fun long weekend is ideal for reasonably active people, with guided walks in good English and not so good German! Son Ametler is a luxury “Agrotourism” which has been voted Mallorcas best B&B by Trip Advisor for the last 3 years. It has GREAT food by its Italian owner/chef Paola, and great wines, drunk mostly by her husband James.
Priced at 300€ per person, for three nights, based on two adults sharing a room (450€ for single occupancy), this will include all meals, non-alcoholic drinks, and the price of our guide, Joan Mateu who is specialised in Mallorca’s cultural heritage, its Talayotic prehistory, and its flora, fauna and agriculture. It will exclude flights, transfers/car rental, alcoholic drinks and any other extras.
You will need to bring walking shoes, a small rucksack, sun-cream and refillable water bottle. Walking sticks optional. Bring waterproofs, which will of course be merely for decoration in the Mallorcan sunshine. This will be a small group tour, with max 12 people and two guides. Our preliminary itinerary, which can be tailored for the groups, is as follows:
Day 1: Visit to a traditional Mallorcan public “Posesión”, Son Real
Route: Son Bauló - Son Real - Son Serra de Marina
Visit to the ethnological Museum
Beach walk including Pheonecian Necropolis and Illot des Porros
3 hours walking, flat.
Day 2: Mallorca’s Best Coves

This is an ideal introduction to Mallorca, far from its clubs and pubs, stags and hens, and is suitable for enthusiastic walkers keen to know more of Mallorca’s nature and past.
